Résumé

The paper describes a desiccant and evaporative cooling system in which desiccant and evaporative processes occur with the help of special fans using flexible fiber needle impellers, sprayed with water (humidifying) or desiccant solution (dehumidifying). The system also includes heat pipes for heat exchange between hot dry air and exhaust air. Performances of the experimental facility are investigated.
