Résumé
Since further energy saving for global environmental protection becomes a matter of urgency, promotion of introduction of renewable energy sources is required for realization of low-carbon society. Especially, in Southeast Asia countries, according to the economic growth, the measure for the reduction of the greenhouse gas and energy consumption is requested. We manufactured a single-double effect combined absorption chiller for "Solar air-conditioning system". And we construct the model plant at University of Indonesia and estimate its performance. We report the simulation and the evaluation of the effects of solar absorption chillers on the reduction of energy (=fuel gas) consumption in condition of the climate in Indonesia. To estimate the fuel gas reduction rate to the absorption chiller, the mathematical models of the system with solution flow we constructed and the insolation and ambient temperature in Indonesia were used in this simulation. By controlling the heat input to the high-temperature generator, the system is always operated at a constant cooling capacity. Based on the result, because the amount of insolation was comparatively stable, the fuel gas reduction rate remained high during daytime. Therefore, we confirmed the effect of the system that we suggested on the climate condition in Indonesia.
