Résumé

In this paper, an ice slurry production system using double direct contact heat transfer between air and water solution was studied. Keeping the air flow rate fixed at 200 m3/h, 27.3 kg ice slurry can be generated per hour by this system, of which the ice packing factor is about 20%. Experiments on the heat transfer process within the ice slurry generator were carried out. The volumetric heat transfer coefficient and the system energy consumption were analyzed. The results show that the cold energy consumption of the fan accounts for more than half of the total cold energy. In order to improve the system energy efficiency coefficient, it is also necessary to increase the evaporation temperature of the refrigeration system and the thermal capacity of the ice making solution.
