Technologie des pompes à chaleur chimiques à forte élévation de température pour les procédés industriels.

High-lift chemical heat pump technologies for industrial processes.

Résumé

Industrial heat pumps are often in-process designs where they recover heat for use in the same or neighbouring processes. US DOE has extended the process integration approach that underlies the proper location selection of a heat pump application with a plant utility emphasis. In this design philosophy, waste heat from a process is upgraded to plant utility conditions and fed into the plant distribution system. A waste heat from any process can be used as input and the output can be used at any location within the plant. Within DOE's industrial heat pump program, high lift sorption heat pumps are developed that are capable of delivering heat more economically to higher supply temperatures. The plan to develp economically competitive, environmentally friendly heat pump technologies that can meet these objectives is discussed.
