Transfert de chaleur et chute de pression lors de l'écoulement de CO2 supercritique et sous-critique dans des tubes à microcanaux.

Heat transfer and pressure drop for flow of supercritical and subcritical CO2 in microchannel tubes.

Résumé

The test tube had 25 circular ports/channels with 0.79 mm inner diameter. The CO2-side heat transfer coefficient was attained by using a modified Wilson plot technique. Measured data were compared to correlations available in the literature. Gnielinski's correlation for the single-phase (supercritical pressure) heat transfer coefficient and Colebrook & White's correlation for the single-phase pressure drop showed a satisfactory correspondence. For evaporating heat transfer and pressure drop, common correlations did not give good correspondence to test data. Under some conditions, the evaporating heat transfer coefficient dropped significantly as the vapour fraction increased. This dry-out effect was most pronounced for high heat and mass flux, and high evaporation temperature.
