Résumé

Pool boiling heat transfer from single, horizontal tubes to propane was investigated in order to increase knowledge of the fundamental processes promoting heat transfer enhancement in nucleate pool boiling. Heat transfer and bubble formation on tubes with basic surface modifications were measured over wide ranges of heat flux and saturation pressure.
