Résumé
For designing high performance spiral-wound LNG heat exchanger, a distributed parameter model considering the effect of mal-distribution in shell and tube side is proposed in this paper. Control volumes are partitioned layer by layer and the governing equations are established to reflect shell-side mal-distribution. Based on graph theory, the complex tube circuits of multi-streams are described as a directed graph and an adjacent matrix is generated. Applying the mass flow rate distribution model for tube side can accurately predict the heat exchange of each layer and reflect the flow mal-distribution of tube side. This distributed parameter model is validated by the actual working data and the results show that the model proposed in this paper has good accuracy to predict the performance of spiral wound heat exchangers.
