Un modèle transitoire non-isotherme pour les réactions fluide-solide.

A transient non-isothermal model for fluid-solid reactions.

Résumé

For many gas-solid reactions a variant of the unreacted shrinking core model is adopted. In this model the assumption is made that during the course of reaction the solid particle is partitioned into two sub-domains: an unreacted shrinking core surrounded by a completely converted product layer. The gas-solid reaction takes place only at a sharp interface between the two layers. Therefore, the interface is moving inwards as the reaction proceeds. Common practice to solve an unreacted shrinking core problem is to assume that one mechanism prevails in the overall process. In the paper, a numerical model is derived which simulates the conversion process within a single particle, regardless of which step or combination of steps is controlling it.
