Résumé

The paper describes a micro-combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) system with adsorption chiller driven by a LPG & natural gas engine. Silica gel and water are used as working pair in the adsorption cooling system. The paper evaluates the energy efficiency and analyzes the economic feasibility of the introduced system. Compared to conventional separated cooling, heating and power generation, this micro-CCHP system offers a large potential of energy saving. The primary energy rate is chosen as decisive parameter for the evaluation of the energetic efficiency. The economic feasibility is examined via an avoided costs and a total annual savings analysis and a payback period analysis. As a result, it is shown that this kind of cogeneration system saves fuel resources and offers economic benefits.
