Une étude des caractéristiques thermiques d'une paroi isolée naturellement ventilée : effet sur la réduction des hausses de température en été.

A study on thermal characteristics of naturally ventilated cavity wall equipped insulation: the effect for reducing temperature rise in summer.

Résumé

The authors focused on the naturally ventilated wall equipped insulation, for passive cooling occurred solar irradiation. The wall had an outer wall to make cavity for ventilation by buoyancy. In the paper, scores of calculation executed to evaluate the cooling effect in steady-state. The algorithm adopted two dimensional heat flow analysis for heat conduction and one dimensional analysis for ventilation. The wall assumed 3000 mm height and the air layer thickness 50 mm, and inside and outside air temperature were 26 and 30°C. From the results, in the condition of strong solar heat and thick insulation, the wall had good cooling performance and the cooling effect was moreover 10° in cavity surface. The apparent thermal conductivity of air layer became smaller than 0.05 W/m2K. The value was the same as good insulation, for example glass wool, so it was clear that the wall had availability for passive cooling.
