Résumé

A kind of space-borne 80 K/0.25 W miniature linear Stirling cryocooler developed by Lanzhou Institute of Physics is described here. The compact structure design philosophy that ensures the assembly precision and test results of the cryocooler is also presented in this paper. The cryocooler has the characteristics of flexure bearing suspension, no rubbing clearance seal, linear motor driven. In the commissioning process, the stiffness of the flexure bearing, the moving mass, frequency and regenerator is optimized. The life test is also conducted. The total weight of the cryocooler is 1.7 kg. Its refrigeration capacity at 80 K is 0.28 W with 24 W input power. Till now, the cryocooler has been running for more than 20 000 hours without failure. The cryocooler can provide thermal control for space applications such as the mini-infrared detector and high-temperature superconductor apparatus.
