Vaporisation d'un écoulement de CO2 à l'intérieur de tubes à microcanaux. 2. Transfert de chaleur, chute de pression et corrélation.

Flow vaporization of CO2 in microchannel tubes. 2. Heat transfer, pressure drop, and correlation.

Résumé

Heat transfer coefficient and pressure gradient during flow vaporization of carbon dioxide was measured in an extruded microchannel tube with 25 flow channels with a diameter of 0.8 mm and a length of 0.5 m. Measurements were conducted at varying vapour fractions at temperatures ranging from 0 to 25 °C, mass flux from 190 to 570 kg.m-2.s-1, and heat flux from 5 to 20 kW.m-2. Frictional pressure drop data can be correlated well with an existing model developed for vertical flow. Heat transfer data can be correlated reasonably well with a combination of models for nucleate boiling, convective evaporation, dryout incipience, and post-dryout heat transfer.
