Analyse de la performance d'un système frigorifique de pointe à cycle à air.

Performance analysis of advanced air cycle refrigeration system.

Auteurs : HWANG K., HYUN S., ANDO T.

Résumé

The paper suggests a new concept air cycle refrigeration system (advanced air cycle) that has extremely higher performance than that of the conventional air cycle based on the reversed Brayton cycle. The advanced air cycle adopts humidity control units such as the adsorber, and desorber to obtain the cooling effect from latent heat as well as sensible heat. To investigate the performance of the advanced air cycle, the simulation model has been constructed and the simulation has been carried out. As the simulation results, the COP of the advanced air cycle is two times higher than that of the conventional air cycle. Furthermore, in order to investigate the effect of the air-to-water direct contact heat exchanger, which is the element of the advanced air cycle, the experiments were conducted using element experimental apparatus. The experimental result shows that the cooling capacity was enhanced by the evaporative cooling effect of the air-to-water direct contact heat exchanger.
