Résumé

The processes of mass recovery and heat recovery in a silica gel-water solar adsorption air-conditioning system were investigated. In this system, a heat pipe type evaporator without vacuum valves was designed, and water was employed as the heat pipe working medium instead of methanol. A capillary tube was installed between two adsorber vacuum chambers for the balance of the refrigerant. Moreover, the influence of the hot water temperature on the mass recovery and the influence of the heat recovery on COP were explored. In addition, the optimization of the heat recovery process was discussed. The results show that the cooling capacity was 15.3 kW and the COP was 0.50 when the inlet temperature of hot water, inlet temperature of cooling water, outlet temperature of chilled water, mass recovery time, and heat recovery time were 79.2, 29.6, and 14.9°C, 90s, and 30s, respectively. When they were 64.8, 29.6, and 15.2°C, 180s, and 30s, respectively, the cooling capacity was 7.5 kW and the COP was 0.36.
