Résumé

For the requirement of household heating and cooling throughout the year, a transcritical CO2 system combined with an ejector and dedicated mechanical subcooling (EJ-DMS) is developed. Taking an ordinary house of 200 m2 as the application scenario, the thermodynamic model of the system is developed. The optimum discharge pressure and subcooling degree are determined to achieve the maximum coefficient of performance (COP) at different ambient temperatures. In addition, annual performance factor (APF) is further analyzed. The results show that EJ-DMS has the best performance. COP is improved up to 37.70% and 57.56%, and the annual performance factor is increased by 22.16%~34.48% compared with the baseline CO2 system. In addition, cities such as New Delhi at low latitudes have higher APF, indicating EJ-DMS system is more suitable for areas with high ambient temperature. The combined technique is a practical solution for the application of residential space heating and cooling.
