Analyse expérimentale d'évaporateurs au dioxyde de carbone sous forme de serpentins.

Experimental analysis of carbon dioxide coiled evaporators.

Résumé

A theoretical and experimental study on the evaporation process of carbon dioxide inside coiled tubes is presented. The test rig consists of two closed loop air circuits acting as heat sink and heat source for gas-cooler and evaporator respectively. A semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor is used. A full set of thermocouples, pressure transducers and flow-meters allows measurement and recording of all the main parameters of the CO2 cycle, enabling to perform heat balance both air-side and refrigerant-side. In the simulation model, the finned coil is subdivided into a series of individual elements each including a small stretch of tube. Different predictive models available in the open literature, are implemented for the evaluation of R744 local heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop, with emphasis on dryout and postdryout effects.
