Résumé

The paper reports the application of a computational fluid dynamics program to investigate the temperature distribution and air movement within an air conditioned gymnasium in Hong Kong. Location of exhaust air, outlets, thermal stratification oversizing of cooling plants have a great impact on energy consumption.
