Résumé

This CD-ROM contains the proceedings of both the 18th international compressor engineering conference (112 papers) and the 11th international refrigeration and air-conditioning conference (109 papers), held at West Lafayette (Indiana), USA. One additional paper from the 2004 compressor conference has also been included. Themes from the compressor engineering conference were: CO2 compressors and expanders; swash/wobble plate compressors; noise reduction technologies; rotary, scroll, reciprocating, screw and centrifugal compressors; CFD modelling of compressors; new compressor concepts; compressor valve designs; lubrication issues in compressors; analysis of bearings and joints.
