Résumé

The Exemplary Buildings call for projects, launched in 2007 by the Brussels-Capital Region, has produced 193 winners out of the 5 project calls, with 52 of the projects already finished. Among these buildings, the housing that was occupied at the end of 2011 was the subject of a survey regarding life in these buildings. Twenty-seven responses were obtained concerning 13 different buildings, 8 houses and 19 flats, 7 renovations and 20 new constructions. The buildings surveyed were mainly passive buildings (21 responses) and the others very low energy (4 responses) or low energy (2 responses). The survey related to the following points: characteristics of the housing, characteristics of the user, overall satisfaction, heating, ventilation, air humidity, health, comfort, motivation in the choice of housing, costs, lifestyle, objectives, progress of the building works. The first part of the presentation concerns the points analyzed and the method used. We shall then look at the results of the satisfaction survey regarding the points mentioned and finally, we shall assess the results with regard to the points that appear to be problematical and those whose results are satisfactory.
