Résumé

Based on the laboratory research results on hydrocarbon (HC) application as refrigerant, various demonstration projects of conversion of medium and large-scale refrigeration system from CFC and HCFC refrigerant to HC were implemented. Seven medium refrigeration systems used as milk cooling units have been converted to the application of HC refrigerants. The observation shows in all cases that the cooling performance improved significantly.
