Comment lutter contre la légionellose sans endommager le condenseur évaporatif.
How to control legionella without destroying your evaporative condenser.
Auteurs : MACLEOD-SMITH R.
Résumé
Evaporative condensers have long been an energy-efficient means of rejecting heat from refrigeration systems. However, in recent years the concern about legionella bacteria in the water within evaporative condensers has resulted in inappropriate water treatment aimed at killing the bacteria but which often damages the condenser itself. This paper describes the regulatory background to the use of evaporative condensers and how a well-structured water treatment regime and good practice can ensure efficient and safe operation without corrosion or scaling.
