These proceedings and CD-ROM contain the complete collection of all technical and symposium papers (93), presented at the 2000 annual Meeting, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Extract from the table of contents: air leakage through automatic doors; analysis of the refrigerator-freezer appliances having dual refrigeration cycles; economic analysis for foundation heat gain for refrigerated warehouses; exergy efficiencies of sensible, mixed thermal energy storage systems; impact of temperature control approaches on the thermal performance of a household refrigerator; potential icing at the inlet of gas turbines; simulation of refrigerants flowing through adiabatic capillary tubes; ventilation and indoor air quality in indoor ice skating arenas; modelling frost characteristics on heat exchanger fins; hydrodynamic characteristics of propane, isobutane and 50/50 mixture; experimental evaluation of five refrigerants as replacements for R22; thermal comfort, uniformity, and ventilation effectiveness in patient rooms; field evaluation of a residential hydronic distribution system in the cooling mode.
