Comparaison énergétique et économique entre pompes à chaleur géothermiques à compression et à absorption.

Energetic and economic comparison between a compression and an absorption ground-source heat pump.

Résumé

Heat pumps have emerged in recent years as the most suitable technologies for improving the generation efficiency for space heating in buildings, thanks to the ever better coefficients of performance obtainable with these units, which can be improved by choosing the most suitable cold sources. The authors report here on seasonal comparisons drawn between a commercial model of absorption ground source heat pump and three different sizes of electrically-driven g.s. heat pump. The aim of the first comparison was to assess the mean seasonal heat generation efficiency in standard conditions and the comparison was drawn by applying the various machines to a multiple-family residential building and assessing their performance in accordance with the EN standard 15316. The object of the second comparison was to assess the economic aspects of the various solutions: this comparison was drawn using dynamic simulations with the Trnsys software. The results of the first comparison showed that the electrically-driven heat pump affords a slightly better generation efficiency. The second comparison showed that the electrically-driven heat pumps are less expensive to manage, but a market analysis of the installation costs relating to the machines and the geothermal probes revealed a significant reduction in initial investment needed.
