Résumé

These proceedings contain 27 papers of this conference, sponsored by the IIR, held in Stará Lesná, Slovakia, September 29-October 1, 1999. This international compressor and coolant conference is organized by the Slovak Association for Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology and the Slovak committee for cooperation with the IIR. Most of the articles are in English, 3 in Slovakian, 3 in German, and 2 in Russian; moreover, 3 articles are translated into Russian and one into German. Main themes: compressors for refrigerators and freezers, compressors for commercial refrigerators and compressors for air-conditioning equipment. Some of the articles will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
