Résumé

An adsorption ice-maker system, utilizing CaCl2/activated carbon composite adsorbent-ammonia as refrigeration working pairs, combined with parabolic trough collector, driven by the solar energy was carefully designed and manufactured. An electric-powered oil boiler was used to simulate the typical radiation in summer in Shanghai. The experimental results verified that design objective can be reached and the daily ice production was 50 kg under an insolation of 15 MJ/m2 in five hours simulated by the electric heating, when the condensing temperature was 30°C, and the system COP can reach 0.11.
