This CD-ROM contains the proceedings of both the seventeenth international compressor engineering conference (104 papers) and the tenth international refrigeration and air-conditioning conference (111 papers), held at West Lafayette (Indiana), USA. Two additional papers from the 2002 conferences have also been included. Themes from the compressor engineering conference were: reciprocating piston compressors; rolling piston and other rotary compressors; automotive compressors; centrifugal and turbo compressors; compressors for carbon dioxide; scroll, linear and screw compressors; noise control, vibration, gas pulsations; lubrication, bearings, wear and sealing; simulation, manufacturing and reliability; valves; capacity, control and efficiency.
