Construire des jumeaux numériques pour les systèmes frigorifiques à l’aide de l’intelligence artificielle.

Building digital twins for refrigeration systems using artificial intelligence.

Numéro : 1071

Auteurs : PEARSON A., CLARKE J.

Résumé

The rapid development of user-friendly artificial intelligence applications creates opportunities to enhance the performance of refrigeration systems through complex modelling. This paper describes a method of using this new technique to create a digital twin refrigeration system to look for anomalies in measured performance. These insights can then be used to direct maintenance efforts to ensure that the plant remains operating at peak performance. The paper describes how previous behaviour patterns can be used to evaluate recent performance so that the operator knows whether the system is improving or deteriorating. It can be applied to cold storage logistics operations, to production equipment or to heat recovery applications provided the appropriate parameters are measured and suitable responses are modelled. This work is in the early stages of development so a significant portion of the paper is devoted to future work that will be required to maximise the benefit.
