Cooling-rankine absorption cycles. 1: single-stage case.

Numéro : pap. n. 38 part 1

Auteurs : STAICOVICI M. D.

Résumé

The Cooling-Rankine Absorption Cycle (CRAC) is introduced, producing complementary cooling and work in partial load cooling with full heat availabilily. The paper shortly presents cooling and working state-of-the- art and CRAC operation and thermal aspects. The Rankine cycle working fluid is condensed by absorption cooling cycle evaporation. CRAC is modeled for two coabsorbent cooling cycles, of classic single-stage and double truncated types and NH3-H2O. The results are obtained for a sink of T M,c= 32°C,a desorber inlet of T DI= ((-10)-(-60))°C and five fractions of vapor covering the Rankine cycle, f , 0= f =1. The single-stage is supplied by a source of T M,h =(90-180)°C and the double truncated by one of T M,h=(60-100)°C and one coming of a power station condenser. The cooling and working vary within (0-1400)(kJ / kg) and (0-460)(kJ / kg). The results of cooling COPc=0.2-0.65 and working, ?=0.025-0.105 and ?exergy=0.2-0.5, show promise by using CRAC in the future cooling and working.
