Cooling-rankine absorption cycles. 3: multi-effect working/cooling cycles-latent heat supply case.

Numéro : pap. n. 38 part 3

Auteurs : STAICOVICI M. D.

Résumé

The MeW/CC basic rules are repeated here for sensible and latent heat supply and the latter case model is outlined. The main MeW/CC supplied by latent heat, types, plotts, efficiency and effectiveness are tabulary presented. The MeW/CC was modeled with CRAC subcycles supposed to be of nontruncated single-stage ammonia-water cooling type. The working and exergy efficiency and cooling effectiveness of double-effect and treble-effect MeW/CC are given. In case of the double-effect, the single-effect working is increased by cca. (14.4-12.4)%, (24.95-21.4)% and (34.9-29.94)% , for heat, sink and desorber temperatures of Th,ls=200°C / 230°C / 280°C, TM ,c=32°C / 22°C / 12°C and TDI=27°C / 43°C / 58.5°C, respectively. In case of the treble-effect, the single-effect working is increased by cca. 105.2%, 81.4%, 63.5% and 58.6% , for heat, sink and desorber temperatures of Th,ls=260°C, T M ,c= 22°C / 12°C / 12°C / 7°C and TDI= -10°C /-27.2°C /-34°C /-42.5°C, respectively. The use of rectificationless working combinations (e.g. H2O-LiBr , NH3-NaSCN , NH3-LiNO3 ) and/or high critical point refrigerant is beneficial for MeW/CC working and cooling separate and combined yield.
