Description des propriétés thermodynamiques des frigorigènes naturels à l'aide des équations BACKONE.

Description of the thermodynamic properties of natural refrigerants with BACKONE equations.

Résumé

The BACKONE equations are a family of physically based equations of state which were developed to describe simple nonpolar fluids, e.g. ethane, or quadrupolar fluids, e.g. carbon dioxide. They have also been applied successfully to the pure and mixed hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants which are both dipolar and quadrupolar. Recently, it has been shown that hydrocarbons like propane, n-butane, and isobutane can be described very well by BACKONE as quadrupolar fluids. Natural refrigerants like hydrocarbons or carbon dioxide are quite often proposed to be used in mixed refrigerants with each other or with hydrofluorocarbons. New results for pure and mixed alternative refrigerants are presented in the paper.
