This report examines the state of ODS destruction in the US, including the following topics: technologies for the destruction of ODS; recommendations of the Technology & Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP) of the Ozone Secretariat of the Montreal Protocol relating to the destruction of ODS; US regulations relevant to the destruction of ODS and the amounts of ODS destroyed in the past; the ability of US facilities to meet the TEAP recommendations for ODS destruction; future amounts of ODS available for destruction and the destruction capacity of US facilities; the costs associated with the destruction of ODS.
