Résumé

It is well known that refrigeration processes in supermarkets consume considerable amounts of energy. Depending on the supermarket size the amount of energy used for refrigeration purposes can range from 20 to 50% of total energy consumption. For that reason, energy savings in this field are highly profitable and the possibility is particularly emphasized by electronic control. Tests have been carried out to determine possible savings when using electronic refrigeration control. Results show that by using refrigeration control, up to 20% savings may be achieved.
