Effet de l'huile lubrifiante sur le transfert de chaleur lors du refroidissement du dioxyde de carbone surcritique à l'intérieur d'un tube de faible dimension à rainures internes.

Résumé

The effect of PAG-type lubricating oil on heat transfer characteristics of supercritical carbon dioxide inside a small size grooved tube were experimental investigated. The mean inner diameter of the grooved tube is 2 mm, with lead angle of 6.3º and average area enlargement ratio of 2.0. Experiments were conducted using supercritical carbon dioxide at pressures from 8 to 10 MPa and mass fluxes from 400 to 1200 kg/m2.s, oil concentration was changed from 0 to 5%. Heat transfer coefficient at oil concentration 1% was found decreased 30-50% from the value of oil free condition, and 50-70% decrease was found when oil concentration increased to 3%. However, there is no different in heat transfer coefficient at oil concentration between 3 and 5%, showing a saturation phenomenon with increasing oil concentration. Compared to smooth tube, the heat transfer coefficient increased almost twice at different oil concentration conditions, which was considered the effect of the enlargement in heat transfer surface.
