The effects of retrofitting on an older display case.

A study of the effects of commercially available retrofit technologies on the performance of an older, multi-deck display case shows the energy savings that can be achieved. Display case lighting replacement is one of the most convenient case retrofits. In addition, replacing the evaporator and ambient standard shaded-pole fan motors with ECMs provides higher-efficiency motors.
