Résumé

This paper outlines some common energy conservation measures undertaken on
external walls, roofs and windows of air conditioned buildings in the
Beijing area based on the National Energy Conservation Standards and the
climate in Beijing. It gives both the properties of thermal insulation, and the
effect on the total energy consumption of a building.
