Résumé

This paper presents a new PCM fitted to a conventional air-conditioning system with a latent heat thermal storage tank. The thermal performance, including the freezing point and latent heat, of a new phase change material (PCM), which is developed for use in conventional air-conditioning systems, is studied. The further research of using nano-composite technology to the organic PCM HS-1 was made according to low thermal conductivity of organic PCM. The influence of dispersant on dispersion, time of supersonic on dispersion, consistence of dispersant in the best supersonic time and additive of nano and non-nano on the dispersion were deeply discussed by experiment. The results show that latent heat of the cool storage material is 149.25J/g, phase change temperature is 7.5°C, the material can be considered as an efficient cool storage material for air-conditioning. The best dispersion condition of preparation for Cu/HS-1 was confirmed.
