Résumé

Adsorption refrigeration cycles driven by waste heat are environmentally friendly and save energy. The work is concerned with performance characteristic study of a tubular adsorption cooling module for air-conditioning applications using high-temperature waste heat between 150 and 400°C. The single module is comprised of a generator and a receiver/condenser/evaporator. The refrigeration cycle characteristics of the adsorption cooling tube is described firstly. The operating temperature and pressure in the adsorption refrigeration cycle are variable ceaselessly, and also they have strong coupling with exterior ambient parameters such as ambient air temperature, heat source temperature, air humidity, air velocity and so on. A series of experiments about the operating status of a single module has been performed under different ambient conditions and the effects of the ambient parameters on its performance are analyzed and discussed. The effects of the ambient parameters on the cycle desorption time needed are discussed.
