Etude expérimentale sur le transfert de chaleur lors de l'ébullition en écoulement des mélanges de CO2 et d'huiles à l'intérieur d'un tube horizontal.

An experimental study on flow boiling heat transfer of carbon dioxide and oil mixtures inside a horizontal tube.

Résumé

The boiling heat transfer characteristics of carbon dioxide (CO2) inside a horizontal tube were investigated experimentally. The test section was a horizontal smooth stainless steel tube, 3 mm in inner diameter and 2.185 m in length. When the circulation ratio of lubricating oil is less than 0.1 wt.%, the flow boiling heat transfer is considered to be dominated by convective evaporation in the case of the saturation temperature of -7 °C. In the case of a saturation temperature of 10 °C, the flow boiling heat transfer is considered to be dominated by nucleate boiling. When the circulation ratio of lubricating oil was more than 1 wt.%, the local heat transfer coefficient was much lower than that in the case without the oil. This decrease is considered to be due to the nucleate boiling being suppressed by the oil film. Therefore the flow boiling heat transfer is considered to change from a nucleate-boiling-dominated regime to convective evaporation dominated regime. The dryout quality decreased with increase in mass velocity, and was a slightly influenced by the differences in the saturation temperature and the oil circulation ratio.
