Résumé

Air-source heat pumps offer attractive benefits over conventional boiler heating systems and electric air heaters which are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. Natural refrigerant propane is a potential substitute for HFCs in refrigeration systems. In cold regions, the performance of traditional air-source heat pumps decreases. The vapor injection technology can enhance the heating capacity effectively. In this paper, the relationship between the injection pressure, the injection ratio, the heating capacity, and the coefficient of performance (COP) was clarified according to experimental results. The COP of the R290 heat pump was 2.44 at -12℃, which was 7.0% higher than that of the R410A heat pump. The integrated part load value (IPLV) of R290 reached 2.91. Moreover, there existed promotion space for the performance of the R290 heat pump after system modification for R290.
