Etude préliminaire sur la dynamique d'écoulement d'un coulis de glace à l'hydrate de CH3CCl2.

Preliminary study on the flow dynamic of CH3CCl2 hydrate slurry.

Résumé

The flow characters of CH3CC12 hydrate slurry were studied on a new self-built flow loop. Morphologies of the fluids from suspension flow to slimy flow with increasing of hydrate volume concentration in the pipeline were observed. Flow patterns as well as the pressure drops in the pipeline also were studied and an exceptional pressure changing zone was found for the first time, which can be used as notation to judge if the pipeline runs safely or not. Fanning friction factor of hydrate slurry is affected by mean velocity and hydrate volume concentration when the mean velocity is lower than the critical velocity; while it tends to be a constant of 0.38 when the mean velocity is larger than the critical velocity.
