Résumé

The situation of energy consumption for building cooling and heating sources in China is introduced in this article. The paper proposed a concept of compound condensing based on recent engineering practice associated with condensing heat recovery of a water chiller unit and heat pump in China and discusses some primary methods of compound condensing. These compound condensing methods have been already adopted in the field such as piston-style water chillers, centrifugal-style water chillers and air heat pumps. The capacity of the condensing heat of these water chillers and heat pumps is great when the air-conditioning system is running. But the condensing heat is directly expelled to the environment without being used. So, these compound condensing methods are considered as a new technique of heat recovery for building cooling and heating resources. And some experiments on water chiller and air source heat plant are validated. These new compound condensing methods can increase the EER of the system greatly and make great benefit to the environment, economics and society.
