Évaluation de la performance climatique sur le cycle de vie (LCCP) des pompes à chaleur aérothermiques utilisant des frigorigènes de nouvelle génération.

LCCP evaluation for air-to-air heat pumps using next-generation refrigerants.

Résumé

In Japan, a two-step process is applied to Life Cycle Climate Performance(hereinafter referred to as “LCCP”) evaluation of heat pump-type air conditioners with next-generation refrigerants. This paper mainly describes the first step of the process through the LCCP evaluation methods, together with the concept of the study utilizing both field data and hypotheses. In particular, a representative model is selected as an example of general split-type air conditioners, and it is considered in two ways, one of which is only as evaluation for a system drop-in of candidate refrigerants replacement while the other is in terms of system optimization, both using R290, R32, R454C (and R22, R410A) as candidate refrigerants. This report explains a calculation method using the performance simulation that is adopted as a standard tool by the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as “JRAIA”). The paper also presents an overview of a project to establish a new concept and hypothesis for LCCP evaluation in which field data related to air conditioners is adopted.
