Résumé
This study aims to analyze the energy consumption of domestic educational facility as a top priority in saving, and to review the possibility of zero energy school through the application of several technologies. Based upon the statistical analysis of annual energy consumption of whole elementary schools in Korea, a typical elementary school is selected as a reference building in view of national average of annual energy consumption. For a breakdown of energy consumption in the reference building, detailed investigation was conducted including collection of energy bill for gas and electricity, field survey of every building electrical equipment, interview with occupant, spot test for electrical density and profile of some equipment and blower- door infiltration measurement of typical rooms. Through the calibration of a computer simulation model with the analysis result of actual measured data and field survey, we established the base case simulation model for ZES (Zero Energy School) prototype modeling. Through the parametric study of various energy conservation measures with the calibrated basecase simulation model, the priority order of energy saving technologies for ZES is proposed. Result shows that a possible annual energy consumption level of ZES with just current cost-effective technologies of energy saving in Korea 72.7 kWh/m2.yr of which saving ratio corresponds to 28% comparing with the reference elementary school building.
