Résumé

This document answers some of the most commonly asked questions about the ozone layer. It is a component of the 2006 report of the Montreal Protocol Scientific Assessment Panel. The answers are based on the information presented in the 2006 and earlier Assessment reports. Topics of the questions are: ozone in our atmosphere; the ozone depletion process; stratospheric ozone depletion; controlling ozone-depleting gases; implications of ozone depletion; stratospheric ozone in the future.
