Expériences avec le coulis de glace.

Experience with ice slurry.

Auteurs : KAUFFELD M., CHRISTENSEN K. G., LUND S., et al.

Résumé

Ice slurry is a mixture of small ice particles (usually 0.01 to 0.2 mm), water and a freezing point depressing agent. Due to the melting heat of the ice particles, ice slurry has a rather large cooling capacity and at the same time behaves very much like water due to the liquid water and the freezing point depressing agent. The Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology Section of the Danish Technological Institute has worked with ice slurries throughout the last five years. During that period different items in ice slurry technology have been addressed. This paper deals with the "state of the art" of ice slurry.
