Résumé

The authors screened 19 pure substances to be considered as possible components of refrigerant mixtures replacing R11 or R114. They define the selection criteria of such mixtures. Five groups are considered: 1) binary mixtures without hydrocarbons; 2) binary mixtures with hydrocarbons; 3) ternary mixtures without hydrocarbons; 4) ternary mixtures with hydrocarbons; 5) ternary mixtures with HFC-236fa. Among 16 mixtures in group 5, some can be used as good substitutes for R114 in heat pumps. Tests on these mixtures are in progress at CNR in Padova and Ancona University.
