Résumé

The book contains the 53 papers (mostly in Italian, seven are in English) of the biennal European Seminar, held in Milano, Italy, June 27-28, 1997, organized with the participation of the IIR. It includes five sessions: new refrigerants, results and perspectives; new components and equipment for new refrigerants; new technologies in Europe and in the world with particular reference to absorption and air cycle systems, heat pumps and dehumidification; new technologies in air car conditioning; the cold chain: new technology, temperature control in refrigeration products. Most of the papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
