Résumé

Developments in commercial and industrial refrigeration are driven by the need of improve control of the cold chain, and to mitigate global warming by improving energy efficiency and reducing refrigerant emissions. The latter often makes good financial sense. This article discusses which technology trends are evolving in supermarkets, cold stores and industrial refrigeration applications.
