Résumé

The authors demonstrated that cryopreserved cord blood CD34+ cells cultured with GM-CSF/SCF/TNF-alpha developed into dentritic cells, which were morphologically, phenotypically, and functionally similar to dendritic cells derived from freshly isolated cord blood CD34+ cells. Their results suggest that the utilization of cryopreserved placental/umbilical cord blood products could be used for the cell therapy with dendritic cells against tumour diseases.
