Résumé
Après un rapide exposé sur les CFC et l'environnement, l'auteur passe en revue les différents fluides usuels et les compare au propane et à l'isobutane. Les performances thermodynamiques de ces nouveaux fluides sont évoquées, ainsi que l'inflammabilité et la toxicité. Des exemples d'utilisation sont donnés, notamment dans la fabrication des réfrigérateurs domestiques, en Allemagne.
